Classroom
We have a large colourful classroom, with a lovely
wall mural, which provides visual stimulation and vocabulary building.
We have a wide selection of toys available. Including educational and
creative toys to suit the 1 3 and a half-year olds. The classroom is
attached to a fully equipped cottage with a full bathroom and
baby-changing facilities; there is also a kitchen and reception area,
where tea is served. There is a good flow from inside to outside, to
both the messy play area and playground
Outside
We have 2 metal jungle gyms, a car with steering wheel, a large variety of gross motor equipment, including a slide and ball pond and a large built in trampoline. A large sandpit surrounds the jungle gyms, proving a soft landing when going down the slide. This also provides lots of fun playing in the sand, and they learn so much from doing this, including concepts such as quantity and volume.
We also have a messy play area, which is under carport to provide shade and protection from the rain. Messy play is important and we encourage the tots to participate in all the creative activates, please dont dress them in their Sunday best, we do provide aprons, but it can still be a mess!
